Glen Johnson - Head Coach

Glen started his career with Canvey Island's youth team , he has also seen action with Southend United , Glen represented Essex County School boys and made his 1st team debut for Canvey Island aged 15 whilst still at School ,A number of professional clubs were taking an interest in Glen , But after alot of thought Glen decided to sign a contract with Canvey Island , Glen spent 3 years learning his trade at Canvey being involved in the 1st team squad and making a number of appearances , Glen was back up goalkeeper to Danny Potter during Canvey's 1st season in the Nationwide Conference , in that season he was loaned to Maldon Town to gain 1st team Experience ,

With 1st team opportunities limited Glen moved on to pastures new and has played for Long Melford ,Aveley ,Potters Bar ,Wingate & Finchley and Witham Town

Due to Glen's work commitments with PRO-GK time was called on his playing career , Glen is currently undertaking his F.A Level 2 badge

Glen is co owner of goalkeeper glove brand PRO-GK

Paul Horwood - Head Coach

Paul started his playing career at Ryman Great Wakering Wovers.
Progressing from there junior set up through to the full side at the age of 17, a serious shoulder injury has put pay to Paul developing his career, although spells at concord rangers and local side White Ensign have enabled him to continue with the game. My real passion is my coaching I’m a FA level 2 qualified coach and have coached many of the junior teams in the area, Paul is currently part of the playfootball.net management based in Southend and combines his role there with his coaching with Pro-GK.

Steve Johnson - Academy Secretary

Steve is a important part of the PRO-GK academy team , an experienced amateur goalkeeper , Steve combines his knowledge of the game with the running of the admin side of the academy , Steve is the 1st port of call for all new and potential young goalkeepers joining the academy. Steve is also Company Secretary to PRO-GK goalkeeper products and deals with all of PRO-GK's professional goalkeeper's on a daily basis.
