12. David Stockdale

Roy Hodgson reinforced his options in goal during the summer of 2008 by securing the services of David Stockdale from Darlington on a two-year deal.

Stockdale came through York City’s youth system and made over 40 appearances for Darlington last season. There was much speculation surrounding his future in 2008, linking the keeper with a host of Premier League clubs before he put pen to paper with the Whites.

Stockdale’s development will continue at Fulham under the stewardship of Mike Kelly and the keeper will be hoping to make a breakthrough during the 08/09 season after making a number of appearances during Fulham’s pre-season campaign.
