Danby is 25 years old , having previously played for Kidderminster Harriers where he made 76 1st team appearances before joining current employers Chester City , for whom he has made 141 appearances.
On March 7, 2009, Danby made his 128th consecutive start for Chester in The Football League at Barnet, to break a record set more than 40 years earlier by Mike Metcalf

PRO-GK's Danny Potter will be wearing the Revolution Breast Cancer Charity glove on Saturday in Cambridge United's Blue Square Premier fixture against Luton Town at the Abbey Stadium
These gloves will them be auctioned off to help raise more money to give to charity
PRO-GK's Glen Johnson said " Pottsy has been 1st class since he found out about the glove and what we are trying to do , he has arranged with Cambridge United to help promote the glove and the cause, the Football Club have been excellent , so a big thank you to Wayne Purser for his help and support also!We have a number of endorsee's who have purchased the gloves and will be wearing them over the next few week's , these include David Stockdale , Dean Brill and Carly Teflord , once they have finnished with the gloves we will be putting them up for auction to raise a bit extra "

David Stockdale put in a assured performance in tonight's 1-1 draw, with the Official Fulham website nameing him man of the match.
They said "There were several outstanding performances on Thursday night but fulhamfc.com's Man of the Match goes to David Stockdale. On his first night of European football the young keeper was outstanding. His save in the dying minutes to keep the score level was simply world-class. Stockdale's distribution was faultless all night and the keeper was composure personified in Sofia."
